Photo Training session with the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana. Journey University is a program run by Kendra Nowell, Program Developement Manager, of the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana. She always comes up with great ways to interact the youth with art and different experiences.
In our photography training class, we discussed Photo basics and how to take better pictures. The girl scouts were already good at taking candids, so they learned about lighting, angles, attention to detail, and how to make their pictures better. They were really creative by getting into trees, laying on the ground, and motion shots. The girls had a great time photographing flowers, animals, and themselves of course lol. I enjoy sharing the gifts of art with the youth, to see their minds light up with creation. The photos were taken on the campus of Butler University in Indianapolis. More photos coming soon from the class.
