Who would’ve known she’d say “I do” in the rain. Yep, an engagement shoot in the RAIN. I must say this shoot was a little challenging, but I think this is one of the reason I pride myself on being a Professional photographer. We didn’t expect the best weather, but we had no other days to reschedule. Regardless of the conditions, I wanted Maria to enjoy her engagement session. I was determined to get her some great shots of her and Eric. It was cold and breezy, but I wanted them to focus on each other and the new baby. After shooting some candids under the pavilion, the weather began to let up a little. So we explored our surroundings, and soon the couple forgot about the weather. I was able to get some really natural expressions as they enjoyed each others company. As the shoot concluded, the couple thanked me for a great shoot. They were really pleased with how some of the photos turned out in camera. I feel its my job to put my clients as ease. No job is too big, if we look at it through the right lens. I try to make each shoot meaningful, and this one definitely stands out. “Singing in the rain”.
I hope you enjoy the photos.~BLA
